Here at Dawsonville Baptist we offer a place where children preschool through 5th grade can discover and develop a passion for God. Through worship, teaching, and a variety of fun activities, children are exposed to God’s Word and challenged to grow in their relationship with God.
Our children’s classes are staffed with volunteers who are committed to teaching and ministering to children. You can be confident that your child is well-cared for and having a great time learning about God.
On Sundays during Sunday School we are currently using Buzz from group publishing. This unique game-like curriculum includes, hands on activities, lessons packed with fun, surprise, and kid participation. Kids even get to choose what activity comes next as the lesson unfolds, and they never get bored because they never quite know what’s coming next. For more information visit the website here.
We also set aside a special time during our Sunday worship service just for children. During this time children are invited up front where they are presented with a brief object lesson. Children are then given the opportunity to pray.
Wednesdays evening children are exploring the Bible chronologically through the Gospel Project for Kids. The Gospel Project for Kids immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through the Gospel Project for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
Also of Wednesdays the children’s choir practices songs to sing during Sunday Worship.
